SHEFFIELD CHAMPS AGAIN

Sheffield Union of Golf Club’s senior team has completed a remarkable double clinching the Yorkshire Team Championships at the Wynyard.

The win gives the team a back-to-back victories in both the League and Team Championships equaling the similar feat achieved in 2012.

The results at the Wynyard in Teesside over last weekend were: Sheffield 854, York 863, Harrogate 887, East Riding 889, Bradford 892, Halifax/Huddersfield 903, Teesside 906, Leeds 929.
