LONGDEN WINS MID-AM BY 1 SHOT

As the temperatures increased Dean managed to keep is cool and post a 3 under par 68 to beat runner up Matt Daugherty (Beauchief GC) by 1 shot on 69, and in third place was John Bragger (Hillsborough GC) who shot a 71 along with Dave Needham (Lindrick GC), Karl Barker (Renishaw Park GC)and Shaun Tarplett (Hillsborough GC)

The event was run this year on a trial basis over 18 hole and on a weekend to encourage entries after a disappointing turn out in previous years and the result looks positive.
