SUGC JUNIORS ANOTHER WIN

The morning foursomes were a triumph for Sheffield with them winning 10 – 2. Victories for Whaley/Swords, Goff/Silman, Aldridge/Marks, Johnson-Rolfe/Mitchell and Johnson and Graveling (making his debut)

The afternoon singles were a more close effort with Sheffield winning 15 – 9 but the situation in mid afternoon was very close with Sheffield down in all matches bar one. The effort of the players in the afternoon heat was rewarded with wins for Silman 4/3, Goff 3/2, Aldridge 1 up, Swords 3/2, Marks 5/4, Johnson 4/3 and debut boy Graveling 3/2, a half for Johnson Rolfe completed the scoring

The quality of golf by both teams in the hot humid conditions was to be commended
