3rd PLATE WIN FOR JULIAN WOOD

In perfect weather conditions the competitors battled it out to try and become the 2022 Sheffield Open Amateur Champion. In the end it was the Plate's most successful player (having won in 2018, 2019, 2nd 2021), Hallamshire's Julian Wood who with two par 71 rounds claimed the Plate for an impressive third time.

Second place went to Lucas Martin (Sandhill) with two round total of 146, George Ash (Hallowes) was third on 148(BB9). We also need to congratulate George who in the second round had a hole in 1 at the 193 yard 6th.
