J H AITCHISON TROPHY

Although the heavy morning showers were to die off in the afternoon, the blustery wind was to remain all day making for slow progress and high scoring around the Waterfront course. In the end it was the Wath quartet of Paul Simon Luker/Matthew Parker & Ben Kay/Joe Moore whose score of 76 points would take the J H Aitchison Trophy by one point from Chesterfield, with Renishaw 3rd on 74 points. Ben & Joe also had the best pairs score of the day with a terrific 44 points.

Thanks to those taking part, to all at Waterfront Golf Club for hosting the event, and particularly to Nigel for his wonderful catering.
