Winning Start

Sunday turned out to be a very successful start to the 2021 season for both our YIDU teams. The senior squad won back the Sheffton Trophy in what is our traditional opening “friendly” against the Bolton Golf Association. Played at Wheatley GC the Sheffield Team were Tim Brind, Neil Stones, Ollie Smith, Mark Woodhall, Ian Clarke, Dean Longden, Jon Berrisford, Tom Stanley, Conor Clarke, Danny Mould, Jordan and Brandon Perry.
The seniors first YIDU match is against East Riding at Abbeydale on Sunday 16th May.

Meanwhile, our Sheffield Juniors went to Wilton GC to play against Teesside Juniors.
Winning the morning Foursomes, then taking the afternoon singles to win the match 27 to 9. A very good start for our Juniors.
