QUEEN'S JUBILEE TROPHY

On Saturday Styrrup Golf Club played host to the 2019 Queen’s Jubilee Trophy competition. The course had been prepared to a high standard but with a strong wind blowing (plus one heavy shower later in the day) it was to prove a testing event. Scores were very close (3 strokes covering the first eight places) with the lead changing hands several times before the Sickleholme team of M Snell (7), Christopher Drazek (10), C Stirr (7) & A Uddin (10) (who were the last team out) came in with a score of 134 to pip Renishaw Park by 1 shot. Third were Rother Valley also on 135
