2019 PRESIDENT INSTALLED

The SUGC Annual Council Meeting was held at Rotherham Golf Club on Monday the 4th March. Outgoing president Jeff Roden reported on another successful year and thanked everyone for their support.

Jeff then handed over office to 2019 President Alan Marriott of Wath Golf Club. Alan a former captain of both Roundwood and Wath was also President of the Sheffield Society of Golf Captains in 2009, and is still a member of their committee.

Bob Unwin (Rotherham) was elected President Designate, and received his badge from Neil Leatherland (Hillsborough) who moved up to President Elect.

Finally, Neil Allen (Doncaster), John Reynard (Sitwell) were elected to the executive committee for a term of 4 years
