WHEATLEY QUALIFY FIRST

With perfect weather and the Sickleholme course in magnificent condition the day was set up for some great golf. Out of the 14 clubs that entered Wheatley picked up the salver for finishing in first place with a terrific 4 under par score of 288. Also qualifying for the team championship on 1st July at Abbeydale, were Lindrick, Sickleholme, Hickleton, Waterfront, and on countback Doncaster Town Moor.

8 golfers returned par or better with the pick of the bunch being Hickleton’s Luke Palmowski with a 4 under par 69.
