SUGC President's Day

Our 2017 President John Reynard held his day for club officials at his home club Sitwell Park on Friday 7th July. The course was in magnificent condition with some fine scores being returned.

The President was accompanied by his wife Stella to meet the club representatives on the first tee, on the course, or at the "Black & Tann" half way house where a terrific range of refreshments were on offer. Taking his roll seriously Prez had earlier "Sampled" the cakes and buns and passed them fit for purpose!

The winning team with a commendable score of 88 points were Past President Darran Johnson, Lee Smith from Bondhay, John Eccles from Doncaster Town Moor & Wheatley's Alan Kearsley.

During the prize presentation the President thanked all those attending, Head Greenkeeper Chris Colton, Gren Cousins and his catering team and a big thank you to Linda Marriott for not only doing all the baking but running the half way house.
