ALL WELCOME AT FAMILY FUN DAY AT PCGA

Everybody is welcomed to the Peter Cowen Golf Academy, Wortley Road, Rotherham on July 25^th for a family fun day aimed at growing the game.

Supported by Peter himself, who will be in attendance with his team, the day is aimed specifically at introducing newcomers to the game.

The idea is to show that golf can be fun for everybody from youngsters to older people and families.

Nick Huby, the academy manager said: “We welcome everybody to come along and find out what golf is all about and the whack balls down the range.”

The emphasis will be fun and on inclusiveness and the more people who support the event the better.

All Sheffield Union golf clubs and their professionals have been invited to show what they have to offer, and club junior organisers and team members will attend.

The event will be staged from noon-6pm and will include a number of fun events including mini golf and the latest craze, FootGolf.
