The PCGA Junior Tour consists of 4 major events. In collaboration with Callaway Golf and the Sheffield Union of Golf Clubs we visit four elite golfing venues across the region hosting premier events on top class courses. At each event in addition to Callaway giveaways and a fantastic prize table, all players receive on course refreshments and food afterwards.

The PCGA Mini Tour events are open to all young academy players, juniors and pre-juniors looking to gain competition experience out on a golf course.
All Mini Tour Events are played over 9 holes on shortened courses. Prizes awarded fo lowest score and runner-up in each age group. Parents/Grandparents are encouraged to act as caddies!

Congratulations to the Rotherham Junior Team who claimed victory in the British Legion Junior Matchplay finals weekend at Staverton Park Golf Club.

The semi final and final of the under 14s was played at Roundwood on Sunday, in the semi Jack Whaley (Rotherham GC) beat Luke Turner (Hallowes GC) 7&5 while Tom Broadley (Birley Wood GC) Beat Freddie Parlby (Hallowes GC) 3&2

Junior Girls Championship
For the first time a Junior Girls Championship was held alongside the boys competition held recently at Sitwell Park.. The winner with a magnificent 74 (gross) was Nicola Slater from Hickleton.
Nicola is pictured below receiving her salver from Margaret Swift, Lady President of the Sheffield & District Ladies Golf Association, also pictured is SUGC President Daran Johnson (click on pic to expand).
Cameron Newman, Jack Hughes, Declan Stoppard returned a score of 76 points (best 2) to win the Yorkshire Inter-District Union Junior Club Championship. Jack Hughes also had the highest individual score with 40 points (back 9)
