SOUTH YORKSHIRE SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIP

The English Schools Golf Association held the South Yorkshire Schools Championship at Hickleton G C on Monday 18th March 2019 and an excellent field of 63 boys and 5 girls took part.

There was success for Wath Academy based at Waterfront GC as Charlie Daughtrey took the Best Gross with a score of 71 and he was part of the team alongside Luca Houlgate and Ben Schmidt which collected the team prize. George Ash representing Balby had the best nett with a score of 68, Courtney Maitland representing Balby had the best gross of 87, and Jade Pinder Representing Penistone took best nett with 78
