SUGC I-D JUNIOR UPDATE

In their first 2017 match, away to the East Riding Union at Springhead Park our I-D Juniors won 25 -11. The foursomes were tied at 6 -6 but an impressive 19 – 5 win in the singles ensured the victory.

On Sunday 30^th April away again this time to face the York Union at Easingwold. After the foursomes we led 8 – 4, helped by our duo of Lewis & Lewis (Branagan /Harrison) who were 2 down and 3 to play but managed to win the match on the 18th. The afternoon singles proved to be a different story with a very spirited York team winning 4 of the first 7 matches (1 halved) and it was only a very solid performance from our last 5 players to get us to a close 13 – 11 singles win and to take the match 21 – 15

Next match is at Lindrick on Sunday 14^th May against Halifax & Huddersfield
