2018 Annual Dinner & Prize Presentation

The Holiday Inn Royal Victoria on Friday 9th November. Time 6.45 for 7.30pm

This is our Ninety First dinner and it is not only an opportunity to congratulate all the Union Competition winners but a chance to renew old acquaintances and meet new friends. Our guest speakers are The Yorkshire President Eric Wainwright, our own President Jeff Roden, and after dinner speaker Lea Roberts.

The cost is £30 per person, if you would like to attend please contact your club secretary by 26th October.

Dress code Black Tie-Dinner Jacket, Red Coat or Representative Jacket.

Welcome to the Sheffield Union of Golf Clubs

Welcome to the website of the Sheffield Union of Golf Clubs, which with 41 affiliated member golf clubs representing more than 11,500 players, is the largest district golf union in Britain.

The objective of the Union is to further the interests of amateur golf in the Sheffield City Region, which incorporates Sheffield and the boroughs of Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham in South Yorkshire, as well as parts of North East Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire.

- The organisation and running of competitions
- Supporting and providing teams for Inter-District Leagues at senior and junior level
- Helping to promote and providing support to the development of golf among juniors
