SECRETARIES COMPETITION

The SUGC 2014 season got underway with the annual match for affiliated clubs' secretaries.

Held at Worksop each year it attracted secretaries from across the Union as well as their hosts, the Union's officials.

This year's winners, pictured with SUGC President Martin Brewis (centre) were l to r: Duncan Macphee (Doncaster), Graham Billups (Roundwood) Andy Goddard (Crookhill Park) and Trevor Slack (former SUGC President, Worksop) with a stableford score of 79 points.

The annual competition is hosted by to union to recognise the hard work put in by secretaries of all clubs.

Next year's event, again that Worksop, will be held on March 30. Many thanks to Worksop GC for splendid hospitality and a course in great condition.
