JUNIOR SQUAD MAKE IT 7 OUT OF 7

Our YIDU Junior Squad beat the Harrogate Union 22 - 14 at Bonday to make it 7 wins out of 7 and retain the Title. It was a great result that caps of a terrific season for our youngsters, and also for Mr All things Junior Dennis Clarke as this was his last league match in charge before departing our shores for somewhere warmer! 

At the post match meal the SUGC President John Reynard thanked Dennis for his years of service. Prez who had been with the senior squad in the morning went on to say that there were a lot of golfers who had gone on to great things within the sport who owed a lot to Dennis's guidance in their earlier years, in fact 7 of the senior squad playing today came through the junior team.

The Harrogate Union team manager also thank Dennis for his work over the years with the YIDU matches and wished him well in his retirement.
