ANNUAL SECRETARIES DAY

On a bright if breezy afternoon at Worksop Golf Club, a mix of club secretaries and union officials took part in the opening SUGC competition of the 2017 season.

The course was in magnificent condition and the winning Team were, Liz Allender (Birley Wood); Ian Gregory (Wath); Bob Hill (Hallamshire); and Steve Bell (Sitwell Park & SUGC ).

As well as an enjoyable round of golf followed by a superb meal, this annual match gives club secretaries a chance to catch up with other officials and discuss the latest ‘hot’ topics.

Worksop have again offered to host the event in 2018, and the Union would like to thank them for the use of their course.
